(Bird’s Nest in chicken soup) 燕窩雞湯
(Bird’s Nest and Minced Pork Congee) 燕窩肉碎粥
(Bird’s Nest Soup Desert with Rock Sugar) 冰糖燕窩
1 -2 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 comb of dried bird’s nest (approx. 7 g)
- 30g rock sugar
- 4 pieces of dry red dates (optional)
- 2 cups of hot water
Cooking direction:
- Soak 1 comb of bird’s nest in cold water for approx. 3 hours, rinse well
- Wash and pit red dates
- Put the hot water into a double-boil pot. Make sure it covers all bird’s nest
- Add cleaned, soaked Bird’s nest, rock sugar and dried red dates
- Double-boil for 30 minutes
- Stir rock sugar to dissolve
Serve the soup hot or put in the fridge and serve chilled in summer time.
